I honestly don't mind draw endings, but this match was a good story that was really poorly executed, IMO.
I didn't get the angle that Omega was just barely surviving and needed the towel. He had just as much offense as Okada. It made no sense to me.
Very sloppy
I guess they had way too much to live up to
>Me during the first 30 minutes of every Okada match
Inb4 Meltzer gives this 5 stars too
Wasn't 6 stars but definitely 5.5 stars at least
>>2745369
I thought it was great and surpassed the WK11 match.
>>2745430
You're out of your mind
>>2745446
It certainly felt like it and I certainly wasn't the only one who felt that judging by the reactions in the live thread.
>>2745379
A lot of Omega's big spots were countered and Okada had Omega dead to rights when the towel thing happened. Like, two rainmakers not moving for like a minute dead.
>>2745460
Okada didn't even go for a cover.
I seriously thought Cody was going to throw in the towel and then challenge Okada
How many dropkicks were there? Like 5? Just an overall boring match with really poor storytelling.
>>2745491
He wasn't going for a cover well before they came out with the towel
>>2745379
You could also look at it as Cody wanting to fuck Kenny over because he wanted to be the one to beat Okada
>>2745563
They were legitimately selling Kenny playing the downed dog part, though.
>>2745427
lol
>>2745379
NJPW makes no sense
Shit match
>>2745427
Bullshit, because if this were in the Tokyo Dome, le Meltz would've then given it 6.5 stars (making it better than WK11).
I was there live. The crowd went nuts with reseved clapping, hushed gasps and muted cries of 'ken-eee' for every near fall.
>>2745427
more of a *****1/4 desu
>>2745672
>le Tokyo Dome
I love it when people who don't know shit about Meltz talk shit about Meltz
>>2745692
Yeah, in the 90s there were far more at Budokan than the Dome.
>>2745697
Ryogoku has had twice as many 5* stars as the Dome in this decade, yet autists still cling to the Dome meme for some reason.
11 stars
>>2745859
13 stars
>>2745942
17 stars
>>2745982
23 stars
>>2745998
Okada's performance was 5 stars
Omega's performance 5 stars
5 x 5 = 25 stars
Simple math, really
My post number is the amount of stars.
>>2745369
>have 7 title matches on the show
>I'm supposed to care about le epic draw for the 'main' one
>>2746058
This right here is the actual amount of stars it deserves
FUCK I fell asleep during the Naito match because it was 5 am, where can I watch this match?
>>2745692
>bawwww dont talk shit about my smark god
(you)
>>2745369
It wasn't as good as their last match.
Also Cody put on probably the worst match of the night.
Better than Tokyo Dome imo, best match ever
