Arguably, the two best shows the company has are the shortest in NXT and 205. Smackdow is also better than Raw lately and an hour shorter. It's almost as if not having time for the BS makes it a better show...

It's not always as simple as that in NJ. Sometimes the dynamic shifts, we have heel vs heel, tweeners, and even just a 4 year battle over who is the ace of the company. But generally, it's far more traditional pro wrestling. WWE will never return to that, no matter how back in style it is.

This is an understatement, the main events at least almost always have a deep story to them beyond good guy vs evil guy.

Yeah, who's the good guy and the bad guy in this match? Neither of them cheat, they both talk shit about their opponents, they both want to make NJPW more popular than ever before.
The only difference is one of them (Omega) says you need a western guy to appeal to the western world, and the other (Okada) says that's not necessary, and they're out to show it.
