Okay so now we are getting to the crux of the issue. YT in general will never be regulated like an electric company, or an airlines, 1. because it doesn't have the same societal inpact as either of those. Esspecially since it is quickly being replaced (netflix, twitch)

There is no realistic scenario for patreon to be corrupted. It could get shut down by the government if they search hard enough for tax fraud, or create a law to make it tax fraud, or it can be hacked as a false flag, but they are not going to cut themselves out of their own market by becoming corrupted with your stupid ideas. It's not realistic. They have a sustained service that doesn't need extra or outside revenue. That's how corruption weasels it way into a business. Patreon isn't going to voluntarily do it to themselves.

I wouldn't put it past you to not understand a concept like prorating, but its a bit of magic that could be used to entice people into giving money away.

Ex: Make PatreonPlus more expensive the more patrons you have at the time of subscription.
This would entice people to get in early, when its not profitable, under the mistaken assumption that they're going to blow up at some point.

Lol. Without money the incentive to continue, and to improve is massively diminished. Even the time to conceive & create the actual content is reduced as people work real jobs instead of relying on youtube money.
