Yes. The series has had jack shit advertising outside of a few Nintendo Power articles (which was going out of style at the time anyway) yet her games still got as popular now probably because of her design. Granted, the good reputation of the games helped. but the characters are what DREW people's attention. Interestingly enough, characters and LOOKS are also what draws people to wrestling.

Alexa did a this is your life thing that had people from Gayley's life talk about her. Now, because this is the E, everything that takes place in this ring is cannonical. So nothing about her dad always being with her in school (because she would cry without him) or bringing her dad on dates, was proven wrong. Then a "normal" girl talks about how Gayley didn't want to go the mall like most normal girls and instead watched wrestling. (Which just drives the point that wrestling isn't culturally relevant. It's like when video games have a "Gamer" character who's a fat piece of shit.) Then Gayley comes down there and gets her ass beat. So not only does she look weak, she looks like an autist.

Bliss is an interesting situation. She is great on the mic, great at reacting to crowds in real time, clever, has excellent delivery, and is very comfortable.

However, she's also very bland. She's basically a super generic bitch. She plays that role excellently but I can see why some people say she has no charisma. She's definitely lacking that little extra. Something that Charlotte has on the mic, despite not being nearly as good on it.
