Fair enough. But when a guy gets a shot at the bigtime and turns it down because it would take him out of his comfort zone and he's got his fanbase all worked out and paying off... it's not very exciting. In all indie media you get the guys who are too avant-garde to be anything else, the guys who are either aiming to go to a major company or have already been and couldn't make it work, and then you get the guys who, frankly, just don't want to work that hard and would rather just farm their existing market. It needs no defense, but it's kind of a disappointing attitude for someone whose job is to convey badassery.
