- Former WCW booker and talent Kevin Sullivan sometimes feared telling wrestlers when they were going to loose a match so he would send Meng to deliver the bad news since everyone in the locker room feared him.

- While leaving an airport bar with Siva, Meng was confronted by 5 patrons who started to taunt him with "wresting is fake" chants. One man got into Meng's face so Meng attacked the man and bit off most of the man's nose. Meng and Siva beat all 5 men down and afterwards calmly left the bar like nothing happened. Meng was later sued by the man who lost his nose for $2.5 million dollars. Meng later said it was the best $2.5 million he ever spent.

- Meng once popped the eye out of a fellow wrestler after a backstage incident and the man. The eye actually wasn't "pooped" out but the man did suffer injury enough to the eye that it had to be replaced with a glass eye.

- Brutus Beefcake filed a complaint with the WWF about Meng, then known as Haku, working stiff in the ring. After Haku was approached by the WWF about it, he went into the locker room and attacked Brutus while in the shower. Haku lifted him off his feet while choking him out. No one in the locker room intervened due to being too scared to confront Haku. Hulk Hogan had to come to Brutus' aid and he eventually talked down Haku who released Brutus after several minutes of being choked and turning blue.

- Bobby Heenan reported seeing Haku once break two teeth out of a man's lower saw in a fight by puting two fingers into the man's mouth and pulling them.
