2 words: Bret Hart

Cesaro is one of those frustrating ones because we just don't know how he'd do in a main event role. We've had times when the audience was begging for it, really into all his matches and giving him huge pops, and Vince didn't go with him because "too swiss".

You don't know if a guy can do it or not til you try him in that position. I can't think of a time when Cesaro was ever given proper feuds with a storyline people could buy into. He should be booked similar to how Reigns has been as time: let his impactful move set speak for itself. Just let Cesaro smash people up, have him betrayed or attacked by someone and put him in some physical contests with a revenge story or something good, see what happens.

It seems whenever Cesaro has any screen time he's just there to be a dork, to latch onto someone else's gimmick as an enforcer or just mention he knows lots of languages.
