This. Flips and dives are always going to be more fun to watch than seeing Randy put someone in a headlock for 10 minutes straight and make faces at the crowd. He can talk shit about the indy style all he likes, but at least they're actually trying. The WWE style is the exact opposite of that. It's all about doing the bare minimum in the ring, just so you can wrestle as many matches as possible. It's all about quantity over quality. Evolve and Beyond wrestling seem to be doing pretty well for the past couple of years. AAW has a lot of flippy shit but is pretty great. Japanese feds that aren't NJPW are pretty great across the board except for NOAH, Stardom and Wrestle-1. CMLL is hard as fuck to get into just because it's so different from everything you've seen but is worth doing so.

This is the era of supercards on the indys though, there's probably more diversity and different matches happening now than ever but the era of purely exclusive rosters and guys jumping from one to another being a big deal in the indys is over. Like how PWG isn't just a place for some exports but mostly just socal wrestlers to get over.
