I think the idea is that wrestler A is hoping that wrestler B is out of breath from the first kick out and isn't expecting another cover.

I mean, also, we treat it like it takes no effort because guys do it a million times a match, but kicking out isn't something that takes zero effort. If a huge dude is laying on top of you, pushing him off to get a shoulder up is gonna take some concentration.

The one chant I would love to see a WWE crowd do is like in I dunno 09-11 PWG when there would be an opening technical exchange once they would reach the point of like the double dropkick or slipping out of and into holds and shit, there would occasionally be this "wwwrrreeestliiingg" chant. Just said once though, so I guess not a chant. But 12,000+ doing that would be neat.

I fucking hate the 10 shit and the first time I hear the 2sweet thing I was confused at first but it's neat. Not yet overdone.

British Wrestling was still regularly doing 2/3 falls on World of Sports in the mid-80's.

There's a match on youtube with a teenage Regal vs Marty Jones, not only was it a 2/3 falls match, it was also a "Handicap" match where Regal started the match with 1 fall (because Regal was practically a child vs a top drawing wrestler).

Finish was Jones smacking Regal with a standing dropkick for a 10 count KO (which was an instant win).
