To give you a serious answer, it's because I don't enjoy wrestling without compelling story lines. If I wanted hard-hitting bouts with the chance of fucking both competitors up for life, I'd watch UFC.

NJPW has storylines but they aren't as personal as in WWE and it's all treated more like a competition and a sport than a place to solve private issues.
For me it's a good thing and feels more real than most of the shit WWE does.
Wins and losses are much more important there. If you try to get into it and treat it like it's real then you are in for a treat
