If you are financially set you have absolutely no reason to go work for the WWE anymore other than fame (given you manage to break into their main event). The schedule is pure torture on the body and soul and shortens one's career by decades.

Essentially the WWE reached the point where they had to stop hiring people a while ago. They even had to Brand Split to try and undilute their roster and use NXT as a third show that still holds top tier talent like Nakamura or Joe for ages because they've long ago reached the point where they don't have the time or resources to actually do something with all the guys on their roster in a meaningful way. Not to mention if they actually did cut down their writers might be forced to do their job and actually come up with good stuff for who they DO have.
