Don't undervalue the image though. Image was the reason they were compared, they both hd the generic mma-ish "legit" fighter look which wasn't real common in mainstream wrestling yet.

No one in the nineties would have dreamed of a wrestler who has an endorsement from a sandwich shop on his trunks. A wrestler dressed as a fucking sandwich would have been more expected.
