“You’re taught you’re a mark if you don’t like to lose. You know? If you question doing a job for somebody…Wins and losses do matter, Kev. They fucking do matter. That fucking ‘it doesn’t matter if you win or lose’ shit, they say that when it’s convenient. Sorry, that’s just how I feel about it.”
Based Sean
Stone Cold, Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels agree.

>Nash getting BTFO by 3 GOATs
>...and The Kliq Kid
State of Nashetty
They do matter but at the same time you can benefit from a loss.
Austin lost the greatest match of all time and it ended up being the most important thing to happen to him in his career and set him up to be the biggest draw of all time.
>>2566966
I'm sure that X PAC is referring to people like Bray Wyatt.
>>2566966
Austin lost in a fashion that made him look like the toughest SOB around.
AND wasn't made to look a fool during any of the follow-up.
>>2566976
>>2566985
Yeah I know what he's saying and he's right, just playing devil's advocate a little bit.
50/50 booking is one of the biggest reasons they can't create any new stars. Just look at how over Braun got for squashing everyone, then he went cold after losing to Roman and now that he's killing everything again he's hot.
If he loses to Roman yet again it's only going to hurt him.
>>2566985
This is the difference maker
The Bret/Austin feud is a perfect example of how to put someone over, even when you technically beat them in the match
>>2566996
WWE only 50/50 books guys it doesn't care about
You never see HHH or Reigns doing a casual job for no reason.
>>2566998
Bret was the master of putting OTHERS over.
He failed to get himself over outside of Canada.
>>2566996
this. xpac is an idiot, clearly nobody but indian marks care about win rates. But when your favorite guy does nothing but lose it makes you not give a shit about him.
>>2567014
>was literally more over in America than somebody with a USA gimmick
>>2567006
Reign's got long-term 50/50d due to his suspension. He lost a lot for a short while, he's been cleaned shield members and Finn. But for the most part he wins virtually everything.
HHH loses. He when 50/50 with Brock but admittedly got the better end of it, lost to roman, lost to seth. His feuds are generally 1 matches now so it's hard to gauge with him.
>>2567021
>long-term 50/50d
>1 unambiguously clean loss in nearly 5 years
>>2567023
Yeah, you're right really thinking about it. I can only recall seth pinning him after cashing in so it's hard to call that clean. Who got pinned in the triple threat? I recall Ambrose DDing Roman but maybe it was Seth.
Bret gets too much shit for not wanting to job, especially compared to Joke Hogan who was so insecure over doing the job to the Ultimate Warrior that he literally forced WCW to spend millions to sign him just so he could get the win back.
>>2567029
Vs Seth had a ref bump, Dean and Seth was a triple threat, but he lost clean to Finn Balor of all people.

Remember when X-Pac used his Kliq connections to bury Kane on their feud over Tori? Some people argue that was the start of the X-Pac heat
>>2567312
>X-Pac tried to bury Kane
>Kane is running for mayor
>X-Pac is performing on some bingo hall with his broken anus
>>2567312
Never made sense to me when I was a kid. I remember Chair shots only pissing Kane off and him taking out the likes of stone cold and undertaker. Then he's in tag teams and losing to x pac. You can argue a lot of things about wrestling but the way Kane was handled over his career has to be one of the biggest fuck ups of all time. He should have had consistent main event booking the entire time.
Reminder that Nash once wanted to avoid doing a job so badly that he faked a heart attack
>>2569129
Kane didn't want to be a top guy, he just wanted to put guys over.
>>2570083
>It was X-Pac using politics for feeding his fragile ego at Kane's expense
And 4 years later X-Pac was literally doing porn
