Fellow wrestling fans and /asp/ies .... have you in any way used Pro wrestling (E or other brands) to motivate/help/comfort yourself in real life ?
For example, I sometimes have lots of Anxiety about planned or scheduled things like meetings and events or job interviews and fuss too much about the details.
but then I think about the Attitude Era and that motivates me very much and really helps with the anxiety because nothing was planned in that era. It's All so of-the-moment if you watch the matches closely.
Has wrestling helped you IRL in any way?

A couple of times a month I feel too tired to go to the gym. Then I hear Scott Steiner yelling at me in my head to go lift some weights.

I know it's nothing to punk when he said this "sometimes its what you don't do, what makes you who you are." but it helped me get through a very bad situation once. I will be forever grateful for that and glad that message sunk in before my life was forever changed.
