>watching WWE Raw
>watching backstage segment with wrestlers
>segment ends
>FUCKING SLOW-ASS FADE TRANSITION LIKE ITS A GODDAMN SITCOM EPISODE
>next segment begins
.......fucking WHY
Look at this fucking bullshit.....at the 8 second mark:

WTF is this, Monday Night Raw or an episode of Family Matters?
What's next......they're gonna add one of these fucking Saved By The Bell tunes in between segments???

Who decided to allow this????
it's a good way to transition between things
what would you rather them do? an abrupt jumpcut? A loud and obnoxious logo flying across the screen?

>what would you rather them do? an abrupt jumpcut?
Of COURSE......they did it that way for years
If it's presented as a live show, and you're going from one live backstage event happening to another, then why the fuck would you slowly fade-transition?
When the Acolytes whooped somebody's ass backstage and it was over, they didn't do a slow-ass fade-transition to Michael Cole starting an interview with The Rock about his upcoming title match. They hard-cut to that shit.
Hard cuts between backstage segments add to the live, anything-can-happen-at-anytime feel. Slow fade transitions make it feel like we just watched Steve Urkel break something in the Winslow home, and now we're about to see Eddie Winslow ask a girl out at school

Is this edited or an actual transition
The fucking transitions are the least of their problems
