Definitive chronological order of good TNA:
2002 AJ calling guys FAGGOT, 2004-2005 X-Division, 2005 Christian Cage debut, 2006 Angle's debut, 2011 Ric Flair Jay Lethal, 2011 Joker Sting, 2013 Bad Influence, 2013-2015 EC3, 2016 Drake naming dummies, 2016 Broken Saga
And there's your 100% objective, quick rundown of everything ever good in TNA.
Austin Aries' rise to the world title was really good too. Around 2012-2013, things just started clicking with Hogan and Bischoff, but it was far too late.
>>2353392
Destination X 2012 is probably TNA's best PPV ever, objectively.
>>2353350
I feel like TNA has become a parody of itself the past 2 years.
AJ Styles vs Samoa Joe vs Christopher Daniels (Unbreakable 2005)
Also, James Storm's title win was a great moment too.

I can't find the clip now but Kurt once did this crazy-ass front flip jump off the stage to somebody in TNA.....that was fucking nuts

I think most of it has been posted.
There was some good hardcore stuff for a while with Abyss, Raven, etc.
And the women's division had it's time for sure. Creative characters and whatnot. The Beautiful People are the hottest sloots in wrestling for the past 10, maybe even 15 years, IMO. In b4 ***women's wrestling***

Arguably the BEST thing ever in TNA.

2012 is arguably TNA's best year ever. Its my favourite wrestling year since Smackdown 2003
>>2353577
>Angelina Love weird lesbian vampire hypnosis thing 2011
Came way before its time. I think even if it was done this year and it would still find a way to go over wrestleing fans' heads.
BASED Lashley being the most nuanced wrestling character and the best world champion in all of wrestling in 2016.
>>2353880
That episode where he was ring announcer was gold.
All of the 2014 Hammerstein shows are good
>>2353896
There's nothing nuanced about him. He was just an appropriately booked Lesnar.
>>2353919
He's feuds with Drew, EC3, Eddie, his hunt for all the titles and the segment where he dropped them showed that he's nothing like Lesnar. Lesnar is just a prizefighter who's booked well enough. A well written Lesnar still wouldnt touch Bobby.
>>2353918
>All of the 2014 Hammerstein shows are good
I still dont see what people saw in those shows. Apart from the knockouts they were average shows that lead to the slump in 2015
beautiful people going full unapologetic slut (eva marie's true calling)
shark boy
curry man
CC's run as the guy
Austin Aries
Big Money Matt was okay
>>2353896
I still don't get how TNA of all places made Lashley into one of the most charismatic wrestlers today
>>2353965
>shark boy
His last run where he started to question whether he should keep being a shark was amazing.
>>2353979
The writing last year was really good. There were a some weak spots (X-Division, Sheera, Knockouts, Aron Rex etc) but they were really careful with the main event scene and the introduction of new and big characters (Allie, Moose etc). They also handled their foreshadowing extremely well (unlike Smackdown does now)
i bet tna would be really popular if they just went tv-14 and was basically a revival of the attitude era but all the time all year round, and actually have some t and a in tna
>>2353965
Friendly reminder that The Beautiful People were consistently the biggest ratings draws.

He did couple of challenges like this one. I think he even beat Samoa Joe at one point, but then jobbed to Angle iirc,
>>2354007
The writing for Mike and Maria, despite what people think of their in-ring work, was also really well written. It was a great year for them I think, with a really slow burn of the feud between her and Gail Kim that came to a satisfying conclusion when she finally got hers.
Mike became that son of a bitch you loved to hate, especially since he was pretty much doing anything and everything to keep from eating a pin clean. I liked that he was a slippery son of a bitch to get a hold of, which made it all the more sweeter when EC3 finally got to him.
It's actually pretty similar to the whole thing with Miz and Maryse, but the problem with that is it's only going to end up cockteasing people who want to see some sort of cathartic release and they can't get that as long as DBry ain't cleared.
>>2354007
I thought Sheera had a nice conclusion towards the end with him and Snow finally settling their differences to give tribunal that work.
>>2355000
The writing was good for the most part but sometimes episodes were too Bennett/Maria heavy. The Maria/Gail Kim feud was good on paper but Maria not being a good worker, the "leader of the knockouts" thing and all the title picture being sacrificed for the storyline really hurt the other wrestlers (Sienna especially). The one huge upside to that whole thing is Allie. I dont think theres a better female character in wrestling right now. Mike is great through and through. I just wish that he'd work on his legs.
>>2354726
mma jeff jarret was GOAT
>>2355007
Again, the story was good on paper and Snow's mic work was terrific but Sheera is just so "meh". Even Grado couldnt make him seem interesting. I think TNA needs to realise that he isnt going to amount to anything and release him once they do the tapings for SonySix
>>2355055
I agree. Allie is fucking wonderful. I do like the scorned lover angle that they're playing with Van Ness now though. She looks like a monster, but in a different way. I hope she comes to the ring always fucked up like that for awhile.
As far as Sheera goes, I dunno, I would never wish someone out of a job but if people like Grado can't get a spot then I don't know what to say about the state of impact at the moment.
Could WWE still work out something to put TNA's old shows on the network now that they've rebranded?
>>2355055
>The writing was good for the most part but sometimes episodes were too Bennett/Maria heavy
I think they dumped a lot of money into them, so they had no choice but to push them and hope for the best.
A dumb choice, in hindsight. Maria at least turned out to be good on the mic, but Mike was just a waste of time.
