Wcw was trying everything Vince wasn't doing when they finally hit their stride and began winning the ratings. Most of the WWF's old talent had faded and the new talent(Goldberg, Jericho, DDP, CW matches) were over.

Unfortunately they let their best get away and catered to Hogan and Russos selfish delusions. Still think the invasion angle could have drawn more dimes than the business has seen.

It's not like WCW gave a shit. They just let them wrestle as a side attraction with bearly any promo time/storylines. WWF/E is a "promo first company" and if you can't speak english Vince won't care.
