Lesnar has said before that these days he views his pro wrestling experience as nothing more than a job. He punches in, he does what's asked of him, he punches out. He doesn't care about the industry, he doesn't care if he's over, he doesn't care if he's currently getting a title run. He just cares that the checks clear.

I think Orton has that same mindset, though he wouldn't say it. He just looks like he's always doing the bare minimum of what's being required of him. He looks like he's just going through the motions to collect that sweet sweet paycheck.
