A shoot is anything that's not a work.
When you listen to older wrestlers you often here them say "and this is a shoot" meaning that what they say might sound weird but it's actually true. Has nothing to do with positives or negatives. Shoot interviews are not videos where wrestlers trash people irl but where wrestlers talk out of kayfabe.
