It's common for a lot of high-powered people. IIRC correctly Thatcher got the same amount of sleep as him (4 hours)

Amount of sleep needed is genetic. Most need around 8 hours of sleep to be optimal, others more, others less. With that said, he probably uses drugs. Why wouldn't he?

I read somewhere else that very few people have a special gene that makes them able to function on very little sleep.

Personally, I have trouble if I don't get 8 hours every night.
