The Natalya taunting Nikki part is the telltale sign. Obviously IRL it must sting a little and probably worries Nikki (Daniel committed to Brie, why hasn't John stepped up yet?), so I doubt they would use it for a quick, disposable forgettable wymmynz feud and then further about it. That's too personal for such an irrelevant story. It has to be seeing up a Cena betrayal of Nikki and a heel turn. At this point no one even suspects it, which is why is such a brilliant move.
