It's obvious that NXT call-ups are mostly after Wrestlemania and this Rumble proved that they are pretty much loaded for the entire WM season

Why would anyone think Samoa Joe was turning up? WWE or Samoa Joe never indicated this ever a possibility.

Having a Royal Rumble with Lesnar, Goldberg and Undertaker and having Joe eliminate any combination of those guys or all of them would be the perfect way to give Joe instant main roster credibility to those who don't watch indy wrestling/NXT. The 30 spot was even being treated as the more unknown number, and it was kinda teased to be someone new when they had all the huge names come out before number 30.
