Are they underrated? The impact Hall and Nash had on the business was incredible.

>Started the attitude era
>revolutionised the business, moving it away from cartoon characters in New York and southern memes in the south - were part of storylines that blurred lines and drew massive ratings
>Were the reason WCW drew massive ratings and competed with WWF
>Made it so every wrestler in the business got guaranteed money
>Founding fathers of the MOST IMPORTANT stable in Wrestling history
>Both charismatic as hell and knew how to work in the ring
>had amazing matches with almost all the big names in the history of wrestling
>created the situation that allowed the biggest stars of the attitude era - rock, austin, hollywood hogan etc. - to actually get over

Both Hall and Nash were innovators and yet Nash especially is seen as a meme because of his poor WWF run where he was working under Vince's carny bullshit (completely ignoring his WCW run where he was the BEST big man of all time). Hall had an amazing look, was incredible on the mic and had the IT factor more than any other wrestler and probably should have been the GUY in WWF and WCW but because of his mind for the business and his willingness to put over tons of people (Jericho, Goldberg, 1-2-3 kid etc.) he never was.

Should /asp/ show the outsiders more respect?

They'd be nothing without Hogan.

Hogan would have been nothing in WCW without them

What amazing matches are you talking about?

The NWO was over because of Hogan turning heel.

Scott was incredibly talented but a complete jackass with no direction or ambition in his life or career.

Nash never drew anything and his obsession with an NWO empire is what killed dubya cee dubya.

>most of halls IC title bouts
>Hall vs HBK
>Hall vs Sting
>Outsiders vs Harlem heat
>Hall vs Nash
>Nash vs Goldberg
>Nash vs Bret Hart
>Nash vs Undercarder
>outsiders vs the steiner brothers
>>
no you fucking idiot.
every god damn documentary points to them starting the attitude era and people still wear.
should people show them more respect?
again no; Nash cared about no one but himself and Hall was too drunk to figure it out.

>made millions
>had huge success
>tons of fans, on the internet as well
>get their dicked stroke by WWE because their buddies with HHH
Sorry but your definition of underrated must be a real fucked up one.

They were a bigger deal than Austin yet aren't mentioned alongside Rock, Hogan and Austin as the GOATs

Yes, they are underrated.
>>
Scott Hall is still the coolest wrestler ever. Even 2000+ broken down out of shape Scott Hall was cooler than almost everyone in the business.

They are hugely overrated. They would have been literally nothing without Ted Turner's billions.

I genuinely believe with hindsight that a lot of the WWF guys were sent over to WCW by Vince to wreck the opposition from the inside. Hall and Nash were the Top Boys along with Hogan and Bischoff. These guys were in fact almost the cause of the Attitude era never happening. Nash, specifically. Hall could and would have worked in any scenario.

Pic related: it's Paul Ellering with Vince's puppet Eric Bischoff.
