>He thinks we haven't noticed that Roman has been forced to look stronk for 9 consecutive RAWs and 2 PPVs
>He thinks we haven't noticed that he has delegitimized the Universal Title in favour of the US belt now Roman has it
>He thinks we haven't noticed that the US belt is not even a part of Reigns arc right now and he's only defended it once
>He thinks we haven't noticed that he always fixes it so Reigns comes out last
>He thinks all this will get Reigns over and fans will just accept him as a Universal US Champion
Does he think he's being subtle here?
He genuinely does.
Roman has defended the US title 4 or 5 times already
Well, it worked, people in this very board have said stuff like "Lmao, what are you talking about? Roman is in the midcard now"

Of course he doesn't, he just doesn't care.
Nor do I, because I don't watch RAM.
Have sex.
By falling for the Roman Reigns meme you're every bit as bad as the people lining up for the latest New Day match. These men are marketing tools, not Wrestlers. The Shield/ New Day are a McMahon shill job made for the express purpose of creating a new "legitimate" superstar to be used in subsequent merchandise releases in order to attract the "mark" demographic to maximize profits. This happens all the time in wrestling. They pluck out a new star with an inoffensive face from obscurity, put them in an indie promo on the cheap, and bam, they now have "legitimacy" "wow look at this hot new talented superstar" appeal and can now be a new "artificial star" to hinge your Wrestlemania main event on.
It is all fraud, a manipulation. Roman Reigns is no more a wrestler, no more a human being even, than the new What Culture promotion. He is smoke and mirrors, a light show, a pretend wrestler.
Exact same career progression is true of all of the shilled meme wrestlers of late. Punk, Swagger, Hardy, Bryan, Zane. By supporting these "lesser known" critical darling you are only enabling the PG marketing phase of this psuedo-independent machine.
Reigns is lying to you with his very existence.

DA BASED BIG DOG

>He thinks we haven't noticed that the US belt is not even a part of Reigns arc right now and he's only defended it once
Four times if you wanna get technical.
>Rusev's rematch on Raw (ended in a double countout)
>Rusev's rematch at Hell in a Call (LOLONESPEAR)
>Jericho on Raw (Ended in DQ when Owens interfered)
>Jericho on Raw (LOLONESPEAR)
The only one that had any sort of tension at all was Rusev and that's just because that was a PPV and technically, anything can happen on a PPV. All the other ones were just random fucking happenings on Raw and there was never any belief that Roman might actually drop the title and since he was done with Rusev back in October, he hasn't feuded with anybody for the US Title.
I'll grant that part of that was because of Survivor Series, where most of he belts weren't on the line, but the fact is, since he's been done with Rusev, the US Title has just been a prop for Roman. It's basically the complete and total opposite of what it was for Cena or even Rusev, who while a complete asshole with a craaaaaaaazy passport, defended that US Title with honor every single damn time he got in the ring and was completely focused on defending the US Title, all the time.
Roman, meanwhile, gives SO little of a shit about his US Title, that he just wants another belt because fuck it, his other shoulder is cold and he could use something to cover that one up too.
Which, y'know, would be perfect booking for an asshole heel who doesn't respect the legacy of any of his prizes and only respects his own accomplishments, but apparently, we're supposed to be cheering for it.
I think those WhatCulture guys are secretly on the WWE payroll now. They tell them it's okay to shit on certain parts of the show as long as they go out of their way to defend Roman and always conclude "at the end of the day, I still enjoyed this ppv".
>>2046501
I can't think of a single post-Mania PPV this year that was just outright shit. They were all at least watchable for the wrestling.
Plus, y'know, those guys all get together, drink and have their crazy scorekeeping and bets and cardboard belt shit going on during PPVs, which has to add some kind of element of enjoyability to the evening.
>>2046373
Where.
>>2046562
Raw. Only one ppv defense.
He knows we noticed, he just doesn't give a fuck
Honestly Reigns shouldn't have gone anywhere near the title picture since Battleground. Not that I don't think he's improved because he has, it's because it's done nothing to cleanse the poisoned well that is the fans admiration for Roman Reigns. Sami Zayn should be the US champ in all honesty, he deserves fucking SOMETHING after his match with KO at Battleground. He should have just dwelled in the midcard, getting a no. 1 contenders match but just falling short and getting in a non title feud or two so he can keep improving and fans don't have to worry about Roman as much. After that he could possibly get into the US title picture after Wrestlemania season
>>2045648
he just knows that you'll watch regardless. It's working.

>Bryan
Bryan was good.
>>2047900
Except you fat mother fucker Smark, Roman did have a contender match in which he put Finn over. Lest we forget that he never had his 1 on 1 re-match for the belt with Dean becuase of the suspension.
Lest we also forget that for how many months now Seth has either a) demanded and received a title match while doing nothing in the process b) never been pinned clean on raw c) magically ends up the number one contender after paper views he loses at, and d) implying that roman and RuRu wasn't great
You have to go back
