The storylines are a lot more consistent in what they aim for. They're not great, and this Ellsworth shit is fucking awful at this point, but the Miz/IC shit is more focused by far than anything RAM has done.

Because constantly pointing out how different something is only reinforces in the viewers mind how out of place it is. Mick constantly screaming about how crazy historic out of control the women are drives into your mind how much they have done nothing to get to get there because it just comes out of nowhere. Talking about how great they are forces your mind to really analyze if these statements are true. On smackdown they barely even mention the women at all, they just let them wrestle. Giving you nothing to think about more freely allows your mind to form its own opinion on whats happening.
