How do all of you AE guys out there think about the current product on TV? I haven't watched WWE since 2007, is it worth going back?
>>2037017
Also OP here. Just to clear something up, I'm not saying AE was in 2007 either.
Only if you're into ugly women.
>is it worth going back?
No

Not worth returning to, give it at least 5-10 more years when most current wrestlers are gone
Or 6 months after Vince dies if he dies before then (unlikely), may get better may get worse depending on how power is divided

Yes, this era may be one of the greatest eras of wrestling.

No, it sucks.
It's now a sort of X Factor style family light entertainment show.
Everything is a performance and the stars are showcasing their talents to hit a series of high spots. It bears no resemblance to a contest in any shape or form.

No it's shit. I don't watch the weekly shows because they're pointless, and PPVs aren't much better.
Might be worth watching the Rumble/Mania/Summerslam (depending on the cards) but apart from that I would not recommend it.
Here's an unpopular opinion
It's not that bad, it may be the best it's been in 5 years
On youtube you can find great 15-20 min resumes a few hours after the shows air. This way is totally worth it.
All the stuff with Roman Reigns in the main event is good. Road to Wrestlemania 2015 was great. Roman Reigns vs Vince and Sheamus was great. Roman vs AJ Styles was great. Check out the December 14, 2015 episode of raw. Probably the best episode of raw of the decade so far.
Everything not Roman Reigns is garbage and not worth watching. It is a glorified indie show

Lmao

It's hit or miss. Watch both Wrestlemania 31 and 32. If you don't like what you see, then no, don't come back.

OP said 18+ fedoramen

Terrible. I only watch for the women now.
Too much 50-50 booking
Same matches month in month out, things never extend for a long time with other feuds in between. Look back at 01 when Kurt was WWF Champion. He didn't just defend against Rock each month and only work programs based on Rock during the week. Why did AJ have to fight Ambrose for 4 months straight?
They can't build credible main eventers, that's why.
