Meltzer and his obsession with Londos is something else
He just give a list of guys that are among the biggest draws ever.
Who fucking cares if someone is a draw or not
Are you a part of the business? Do you work for a wrestling company? No, and you never will, stop pretending you're a part of it you goddamn retards
>>2000634
You always find out guys who post stuff like this are Undercarder, HBK or Bret Fart marks
>>2000634
>Who fucking cares if someone is a draw or not
How can you be considered a "GOAT" if people actively stopped buying tickets and/or turned off the channel during your run as a top guy?
Where is the Undertaker?
>>2000634
>not buying a single wwe share for the sole purpose of being able to have a coherent reason for caring about ratings
>>2000636
ThIs
Nobody said you can't like a wrestler if he wasn't a draw (Eddie Guerrero is my favorite and he never drew a dime) but there's no better way to judge a persons run then seeing if they either brought new people in or kept them paying. I objectively can't call eddie the GOAT for example because he didn't draw anyone in besides spics and lost a bunch of PPV buys
>>2000640
this, I sent Vince an email (as someone who owns 5 WWE stocks) telling him to get undercarder out the company
>>2000634
t. Undercarder
>>2000639
>And this is important because why?
If people tuned out during your title reign then you failed as a wrestler in WWE. A wrestlers two main objectives is to entertain the people in the building and keep people as paying customers. If crowds were dwindling during your run and people were either watching the other company or stopped watching completely, you failed. Wrestling is fake, it isn't like the NBA or NFL where you have stats to judge who was better. There's no way to judge GOAT candidates in wrestling besides how well business was doing when they were on top
>>2000634
It's no coincidence that the three people who opened up WM30 are also the three biggest draws of all time
>>2000637
>Where is the Undercarder?
Objective top 5 draws in wrestling history
>1. Austin
>2. Hogan
>3. Undertaker (has drawn for over 30 years, always pops the buyrate)
>4. Rock
>5. Kevin Nash and Scott Hall (nWo was the biggest thing in wrestling for two years straight and they turned WCW into a real competitor).
>>2000656
>>3. Undertaker (has drawn for over 30 years, always pops the buyrate)
>>2000656
>always pops the buyrate
Undertaker main evented Wrestlemania three times and none of them got more buys than the previous year
>>2000660
sorry friend, he was never a draw
he also caused the king of the ring to be cancelled by losing 125k buys from the previous year as the main event, rock had to be brought back to save the buyrate for the next ppv, just like he did for wm27
>>2000662
Damn...
>>2000660
Back to the drawing board, 'Carder.
>reminder KoTR did so poorly under the 'Carder that it had to be cancelled
Undertaker was the last generation's Roman Reigns
>>2000656
Hi Mark, reminder that you nearly killed the WWE.
>>2000636
When discussing good movies, do people talk about how much money they made, or do they talk about how good the acting, writing, cinematography, etc. were?
>>2000634
this place became so memey that nobody wants to even try actual arguing, so we just use drawing power as an objective measure
>>2000671
Smart people talk about the money, because all that other bullshit is subjective.
Why do you see no small-time indie flick actors reaping rewards at the Oscars?
Because nobody gives a fuck about dimeless dandies.
>>2000628
>no taketty
Undercarder marks are finally objectively BTFO.
Leaving out based Sasha Banks, top kek Meltzetty.
>>2000671
Alot of movies are standalone movies, there's no previous basis to judge them off of. Also, many movies are "passion projects" or weren't made just to draw money
If you became the WWE champion by taking the belt off someone, then business does worse with you at the helm than the guy you took the belt off of, that's something to compare to. Like >>2000642 said your favorite wrestler doesn't have to be a draw, but you can't be considered a GOAT if people actively stopped watching with you at the helm
>>2000628
Never heard of half of them.
based Paul Londos
>>2000634
As someone who actually DOES work for a wrestling company, thank you.
>>2000708
>confirming that you've never even seen a dime let alone drawn one
>>2000666
>'Carder
Why do I find the "Undercarder" shit so fucking funny
>>2000708
Hello Cornette you fat fuck
>>2000628
>Londos
>Sammartino
>Longson
>Rikidozan
Who?
>>2000714
>implying you see dimes working your cashier job at taco bell
>>2000773
TBF you're most likely to see actual dimes in a job like that
>>2000628
>Caring about what Meltzer thinks
>>2000738
this
>>2000674
That Oscar comparison is probably the worst one you coulda picked
>tfw 2 months of unemployment left so i get to savor this same damn thread every day
feels good man
>>2000738
40+
>>2000738
>Londos
>Longson
Old school wrestlers. Of the early days era.
>Rikidozan
Father of Japanese wrestling.
>Sammartino
Longest WWWF/WWF/WWE champion.
>>2000738
Rikidozan was a Korean who lived in Japan and had the bright idea of pretending to be Japanese and fighting American wrestlers, as a little way of lifting the nation's spirits after WWII. He became ridiculously popular and his two students, Inoki and Baba, formed NJPW and AJPW. Literally nobody is as responsible for creating a wrestling scene in a country as he is. Then he got stabbed with a piss knife and died.
>>2000628
>londos
>sammartino
>longs on
>rikidozan
Literally who? More people know about Daniel Bryan than these faggota
