>So I used to watch wrestling religiously as a kid (80's kid) but kinda got over it around '92, so I missed the whole attitude era.
>Recently I've gotten back into wrestling, but the current crop of WWE stars are unbelievably bad, so I figured why not go back to what most consider the best era of Wrestling and give it a go.
>As for a starting point, I chose mid 97 when The Rock stopped being Rocky Maivia and started developing his more well known persona, as well DX started at the same time.
>I've gone through a few episodes of RAW and just watched my first PPV "In Your House: Ground Zero" which had a match between Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker that might be the most entertaining match I've ever seen in my life. Just utter chaos for like 40 minutes, great great stuff.
>So far I'm having a lot of fun, it's already a million times better then what they are putting out now.
>Jericho and Owens are the only thing that makes RAW watchable at the moment.

fuck off rawtist
RAW right now might be a piece of shit except Jericho, and post-Roman-in-spotlight WWE has been a bit spotty, but I still think that the best stuff that has come this decade is far better than anything from the 80s or 90s. Having so called "larger than life" characters that spout the same old phrases, have generally boring matches, and only get over with gimmick segments is pathetic yet that was the WWE in the older days.
