I personally thought this was the best wrestling discussion board. I only watch PPVs so I'm a casual fan. When I discuss wrestling, I'm never serious.

Frankly, I love the outright shit posting, wrestlefu, brand war threads, and the ironic love of the large canine. I believe this is the only place where there is a weird aura of us acting like the "WWE Universe". This board has the perfect mix of mark, smark, and anti-smark that I can't find anywhere else on the Web. wooo is ugly af and r/SC is too formal for my tastes.

Actually, as an OG /sp/ poster from before there was even a /wwe/ general, I can assure you things were A LOT better on sp.
As shocking as this might sound, back then if you posted something, a comment, a joke, a shitpost, a rant about anything, people replied non-austically. Anyone who tried to force memes the way 99% of the posts on this board do (ie. 18+, have sex, clue, weights) would be ridiculed and bullied and laughed at for their mental health issues, the way it should be.
/wwe/ general was self preserved from the inside, similar to the eternal Arsenal thread, /hoc/ or /bet/. People had self restraint to not ruin a good thing, casuals got answers and help for finding streams and getting updated on news, the in-jokes didn't scream cringe like here. The only downies back then were Blissfag and Bretfag, and they were easy to ignore. There was even the group camaraderie of laughing at paedospammer failing every few weeks.
/AustisticShitPosters/ is basically pointless bait threads and the same several posters coming into each of them and having the same argument with the same replies and same outcome 7 days a week. Actual genuine mental instability.
The only time this changes is during gamethreads as the quickened pace and flood of casuals results in the austistic bait getting ignored.


The move here was a huge mistake.
