So /asp/ I'm looking for christmas presents for my dad and I was just wondering something. What are the best DVD sets WWE's put out, especially for old WCW stuff?
I know that kind of thing would be up his alley more than anything else, but they've done so fucking many that I wouldn't know what's worth picking up or what's ignoring.
And I know someone's gonna say to just get him a WWE Network subscription but he's the kinda person that would never use it, never understand how to use it no matter how hard everyone explained it to him, and would never bother to renew it so it's not worth trying.
If your dad is a WCW mark then he'd get angry with WWE's revisionist history and not licensing the old themes
>buying dvds
>current year
just get him The Network my man, it's only $9.99!

reading sure is hard
If your dad knoes how to use Google hell now how to use the wwe network

if your dad likes WCW get him a network subscription and make a playlist for him or something so it's super simple instead of getting the DVDs. the wwe liked to piss all over the WCW in their dvd sets.

Wwe also piss over wcw on the network by editing out/down pops and replacing music
You could always get a bundle of old WCW dvds on ebay or amazon, dunno how expensive they could be now though.
Since your dad is casual, this is what I would reccommend:
Rise and Fall of WCW
HHH Thy Kingdom Come
Beyond the Mat
Triumph and Tragedy of World Class Champsionship Wrestling

>Beyond the Mat
I always hear good things about it but have never gotten around to watching it.
