He's a late starter but he's a real athlete, he has the look but above all else he has star charisma which could take him a long way.

LU focuses too much on flippy shit for the most part. There seems to be a minimum of 5 hurricanrana's per match. It over-saturates that stuff and makes it boring. I'll admit I've only seen season 1 of LU but the biggest weren't as good as some of the best matches in WWE this year alone.

I've seen everything up to the fourth episode of season 2 of LU. I think the matches can be really good but just not amazing. UL1 was kind of underwhelming for me.

Sami Zayns ppv matches from Takeover Dallas to Battleground were all great. AJ's big matches in and out of the wwe have all been excellent barring maybe the tag match.

In LU at least the best matches were somewhere in the middle of season 1 where they just had bunch of feud ending matches back to back were mostly all really good. This is mostly why I thought UL1 was underwhelming.

As someone who watches both, no, you couldn't.
LU stuff has bagel for pacing. They're fast-paced spotfests, which are fun to watch, but there's a ceiling to how good they are. A well-structured match will always beat them. And WWE DOES manage to spin a few out, now and then.
