they have their core audience and that's it, no new fans are being brought in. Old fans come back sometimes though to see if its good or when they hear someone from their day like The Rock is back but there's nothing bringing in a bunch of new fans now like the mid 80s or late 90s

Smackdown is great.

Raw is a shitshow being ran by the same people who have been running the shitshow foe the last 5 years.

Smackdown is more well-rounded a show than Raw, more entertaining and of a better quality, but I'm not an autist who only watches one. They're both "okay", generally. Not enough to keep me watching alone, but I kind of just stick around for Angle's inevitable return, for Undertaker sighting, and other nostalgia shit. I think once I know anybody I care about is gone for good, I'll finally stop watching

And I stay up to date so I can shitpost on /asp/ when I'm bored. I'll probably just go back to /v/ when I stop caring about wrestling entirely

Who are the HHH, Rock, Austin, Foley, etc. gonna be in the future? Do they really think fans are gonna pop for a vanilla snooze like Dean or Owens or Finn putting over the future talent? When did WWE become a whole company of perpetual midcarders?

It's starting to look like Cena was the last real pro wrestling superstar. Punk was pretty great as the anti-superstar superstar but holy fuck did he open a bad floodgate.
