Is the atmosphere at house shows different than at live TV tapings?

Yes, there are longer comedy matches, more audience interaction especially by heels and it's generally a better show.

The last show I saw had Strowman vs. Goldust, Big Show vs. both Shining Stars, Reigns vs. Jericho and Rollins vs. Zayn vs. Owens as the main event, among other stuff. Very varied card, very fun show.

A house show was the only time I popped for R Truth. He came out with the local hockey mascot who proceeded to serve fandango in a dance off. The bugger even pearl harborer Fandago for the win!

Other found house show memorys include Jericho pulling his trunks down and bare ass stink face Rikishi, Mark Henry and Bautista brawling straight through the crowd out of the venue, and CM punk stopping to point out and applaud 2 trailer moms who had gotten into a fight ringside.

there are no fat smarks at house shows because they don't get to hijack shows on tv. it's a fun crowd that doesn't boo wrestlers unless they're heels trying to get booed. it is way better than tv tapings also because you don't need to sit next to fat stinky smarks
