Can someone tell me why this 37yr old hack is being pushed as

Can someone tell me why this 37yr old hack is being pushed as a top act in the newly created cruiser-weight division instead of young talents? I mean wasn't that point of introducing the division, to showcase young guys and maybe turn them into marketable characters? what's the point of pushing a washed up kendrick?

The reason I'm asking is, I noticed in his matches this guy can barely perform at the level cruiser-weights are demanded to perform. Even in the fatal 3 way match on RAW on monday, kendrick did absolutel fuck all. All he did really was a swinging DDT while the other three were carrying the match spectacularly and flawlessly. I believe WWE is missing the point of cruiser-weights as attraction, it isn't about yesteryear names, it isn't about in-ring story telling or psychology....that isn't what the audience want. No! what they want is high adrenaline driven fast paced wrestling with amazing spots and incredible athleticism. That is what you need to give them.

Pushing a guy like Kendrick goes entirely against that concept.
