You fool.

How come? To forget in Bray Wyatt is a great character to not graduate Indies. The only WWE ball to him. The error of that? It's false Daniel Brayn or creation-less mistakes of the WWE creative?

Blame Vince McMahon for failing to recognize that the talent and true and the ability to get up. Men like Damien Sandow and John Morrison / Mundo missed opportunity. skills Mika those two men, manners and people necessary. Why did WWE ball with them?

The biggest problem continues to support WWE man like Roman reign. They tried everything possible to get on this dude. Heck, not even hit lowest Vince McMahon's tactics.

I am not saying very wrong of Rome. You will see the fulfillment of Romans:

1. headlined the most WM (and WWE event) in history.
2. 20 year low has since been surpassed by the likes of Dean Ambrose and Kevin Owens.
3. He cut promos since he's been back from suspension.
4. Bray Wyatt transition was even. Roman takes one solo match and one tag match, and Bray record one solo match and one tag match. Bray Wyatt has also pinned Roman more than anyone else other than maybe Seth Rollins. Exactly how the Roman Bray's son?

You realize WWE is really dying because interest in wrestling in general has dropped to complete mainstream irrelevance right? If it reaches the point where it fails completely there won't be competition and smaller companies rising to take it's place in the market, it'll mean the market can't support large wrestling companies anymore because not enough people care enough about it. They'll remain small indie promotions or even shrink themselves.

Yea his worst of all time run with the title showed that
>>
>>1771683

the best comparison i can find to daniel bryan's title reign and WM moment is the NHL allstar game every year. smarks hate vince, hockey fans hate gary bettman. both say to themselves "i know, we'll take the least deserving ironic person possible and whine and bitch until the company has to bestow some honor upon them."

in wwe, smarks chose bryan. a skinnyfat manlet who's only in ring ability is sidekicks that can't cut a promo to save his life who's previous accolades in the big league include a comedy tag team with a washed up kane and jobbing to sheamus. smarks pissed and moaned and made him go over three legitimate champions for the most prestigious title in the industry in one night, ruining one for good in the process.

in the nhl, fans chose John Scott, the reigning heavyweight fighting champ of the sport that has fewer than 10 goals in his entire career. they pissed and moaned and voted him into the allstar game to stick it to the commissioner.

tl;dr: the reason smarks latched on to bryan so hard is because they recognized that he's exactly the kind of person that didn't deserve that WM moment. the very moment wwe decided to give into a loud vocal minority of basement dwelling wizards and put daniel bryan over will prove to be the turning point that killed wwe. bryan is wwe's aol/time warner merger.

Stop making excuses. WWE shoving down everybody's throat Roman's talentless ass is the reason of this.
Bryan had been out of action for a year and a half before viewership collapsed. Roman was the center of WWE's plans during that.

It's Roman's fault.

>This all begs the question: was Daniel Bryan a factor in the RAW ratings?

>The months he was champion, or fighting for the title, were the lowest of 2013. That said, they were also expected to be low because of NFL and TV season kicking off. But because January to March 2014 – the time Bryan was fighting his way back to the title – also didn’t seem to generate interest on RAW, it makes you wonder.

>My theory is that WrestleMania just did incredibly well, and it being the 30th anniversary plus the launch of the WWE Network, there were a lot of eyes on the product. They had The Rock, Steve Austin, Hulk Hogan and The Undertaker‘s streak ending on one show, and the product was highlighted in a lot of major media publications. Once people realized it was just “business as usual”, the numbers went back down to just the weekly faithful. That 16% drop looks nasty

Over the past 15 years WWE has lost like 7 million regular watchers. Those 7 million have not been watching alternatives. In fact the vast majority of the people who watch other wrestling STILL watch WWE. They're the hardcore that watch no matter what.

WWE has lost so many because nobody is watching wrestling in general. It's not soaking up a market that if it dies will then watch something else and cause them to grow. If WWE fails nothing is going to take it's place, it'll simply be the sign of the death of Pro Wrestling in general.
>>
>>1773793
>it'll simply be the sign of the death of Pro Wrestling in general.

CMLL technically has a larger paying fanbase than WWE
>>
I went to a WWF D-show in the 90's that had about 20 people there. It was almost all jobber matches and tryouts. The main event was The Young Stallions vs. The Bolsheiviks.

Also had an A-show with Hogan, Andre, etc. that about 100 people were at. They never came here again.
>>

Yeah, what he should have said is American Pro Wrestling in general. Mexicans will continue on about the same as they have for ages, though Japan also isn't doing well trendwise.
>>
>>1773812
New Japan has been trending up these past few years

~tranquilo~
>>
>>1773793
The reason that people don't watch alternatives is that they think, "Hey, maybe I should try wrestling again," flick on WWE, then ditch it again. If WWE wasn't there, then people who were getting a wrestling nostalgia buzz would look for something else. A lot of them wouldn't find anything easily, and would watch Game of Thrones or whatever. But some would end up watching other promotions and - if they found a good show - they'd keep watching.

Don't get me wrong, WWE going bust would suck for North American wrestling and it might wipe out the other televised promotions too. But wrestling has been through a TV bust before in the late 50s (after a huge boom earlier that decade). After some fallow years it came back.
>>
>>1773886
If WWE wasn't there, no one would get a wrestling nostalgia buzz.
>>
>>1773949
Wow, so they can't even capitalise on their own nostalgia.
>>
>>1773886
Also, other promotions don't really offer something that somebody outside of a hardcore fan would enjoy in the long run.

In almost every indie promotion, even the "bigger" ones, there's almost no storyline and no characters beside "good wrestler" and "bad wrestler".

You can't expect people to come back to something like that after the Attitude Era.
There are exceptions. Chikara with a better budget and much more exposure would be great (i suppose...), And LU could easily beat WWE if it had a better national tv deal.
>>
>>1773965
>In almost every indie promotion, even the "bigger" ones, there's almost no storyline and no characters beside "good wrestler" and "bad wrestler".

>>

I also said that there are exceptions. Beside Chikara what other indie has characters and storylines that are more than just wrestling 101? Just curious.
>>
>>1774003
And what exactly do you define as beyond "Wrestling 101"?

(Which is exactly what the WWE is bee-tee-dub)
>>
>>1774042
I don't like WWE, i prefer LU.

As for Wrestling 101.
To put it simple: matches with no reason beside "It will be a good match", and totally average faces and heels that do not offer anything beside being good or bad.
I think a good match is a really good thing, nobody likes a bad match, no matter who's in it. We're talking about professional wrestling after all. But it should not stop there.
>>
>>1774108
>To put it simple: matches with no reason beside "It will be a good match", and totally average faces and heels that do not offer anything beside being good or bad.

>>

Yeah, last time i watched they were a team. I know they disbanded, but haven't followed the whole story. Might catch up, thanks for the advice.

However, getting back to topic, i wasn't implying that indies are bad, and i also said that not all indies are the same. What i was saying is that most indies lack that mainstream appeal that WWE achieved by going outside of the wrestling boundaries and producing something more akin to a TV show (AE) only to then going "Yeah! We won!" and spending 15 years getting worse and worse.

Look at this guy. This is what your average "mark" will look like in 5+ years. Pro wrestling is becoming a hipster thing. Is that really bad? I don't think so. WWE might go under, but honestly, you anti-smarks need to realize that wrestling's mainstream relevance is fucking DEAD. Terrible early 2000's started it, UFC finished it.
