Also, that's kind of the point. His gimmick is of a man who at one point was in the top angle of the company, a man who has been with the company for all these years, a man who has constantly lost to legends and most of the roster. But now, he has something to fight for. He's finally taking control of his career after six years of being overlooked by the company.

He may be presented as an inbred hick, but it's the fact that he still has drive and passion despite his life being terrible, and his willingness to fight Brock Lesnar and Randy Orton in order to give his family a good life is a feel good and innocent angle that can go really far.

And pairing him with Rhyno is genius too. Heath pairing himself with a huge muscle of a guy who is not only a legend, but is also kind of weird gives the team a lot of comedic opportunity, but also a lot of in-ring potential as a team. One of the smartest written angle's the WWE has put out in years, and you are too fucking dumb to see it.
