Normal people don't care about wrestling. This same shit happened in NJPW when they had a bunch of their wrestlers getting shit on in shoot fights in Pride. The thing that sets pro-wrestling apart from MMA is the fact that if you have good writing and people with personality/wrestling talent they can get over. Ex. Shibata, a guy that had a pretty shit mma career and is now doing great back in NJPW
