I haven't watched wrestling in like 10 years. What the fuck happened to these two guys?
They're the best things about wrestling in the past year
Matt singlehandedly saving TNA's ass
kino, billy corgan and drugs

They're literally saving wrestling and made TNA relevant again.

Can't you use google?
>>1735827
both have spent the last 9 years destroying their legacy with drugs and alcohol, and the last 6 months saving wrestling with drugs and alcohol and a Tim & Eric-tier angle
I'm as confused as anyone, it's hard to explain, you just have to see it.
>>1735871
Basically short movies with wrestling & cheesy acting from Matt Hardy and Jeremy Borash helped bring in a lot of positive feedback back to TNA.

Here's the cliff notes:
Matt Hardy became Big Money Matt. Big Money Matt was an OG playa. Big Money Matt was broken by Juff. Matt's true cosmic self was released from the breakage, Broken Matt. Broken Matt is a lvl99 mage. He deletes people and his gardner buries them in his backyard. He uses black magic to raise their broken remains becoming zombie mules to do his bidding.

Chancellor Palpatine crossed with Petyr Baelish I think.

Seriously, it's because many of us miss the "retarded bullshit" wrestling used to give us. With Kayfabe as dead as it is, we needed something like this to bring it back to the era where people just had fun and fucked around.
I like to compare this to the basic mid-card feuds of the Attitude Era, where shit was stupid and we rolled with it because the characters were entertaining us.

Makes sense. I've been watching a lot of old wrestling videos of youtube lately, which is how I came across this. The characters and feuds were so much fun back then and the crowds were hype as fuck even for basic Raw/Smackdown matches. I'm glad I stopped watching when I did(around when ECW on SyFy became a thing).

Senor Benjamin is the greatest character in the history of Pro-Wrestling.
Wrestling has gone full circle.
Used to be kids playing in their backyards imitating wrestling
Now, wrestling imitates kids playing in their backyards.
they got full creative control
