I just measured my 7.75 and my 8.0 boards not much of a difference just the 8.0 is slightly wider, my size 9 feet will still have the toes and heel sticking over the width of a 8.5. Only difference I've noticed is the skinnier the deck the more rotations in a flip and wider the board the easier to grab. preference is prefrence but 8.0/8.25 seems to be the standard anyways. Wouldn't hurt to try something different. If you don't like it, you don't like it.

I have like six sheets of jessup sitting in my closet because I buy decks that come with it but I prefer to skate mob. Is it that big of a difference between the two? Should I just use my jessup and save $5?

Was having a bs kick flip over a hip battle royale with a friend today. I landed one revert and the force popped the nut off of one of my axles and blew out a bearing. Been throwing to get a new nut on the axle but the thread seems to be fucked. The re-threading tool I own doesn't seem to be working very well. Does anyone have any experience with this? I've got a day off work tomorrow so I'm probably just going to hit up my local shop and check their advice but I really don't want to buy a new pair of trucks.

I think that this a kind of meme. Skateboarding was always the same, what changed is priorities. But a kickflip will always be a kickflip, no matter who you are, you 're going to have to learn it.

Check the companies website, look for the specific truck you have, they'll usually show their recommended board sizes for their trucks., They aren't made to just fit to one board size.Companies like to size their boards with their own system like,"5.0, 5.25, 149,139" etc. but that's just how they differentiate their trucks from one another. Mid, low and high is just how tall the truck sits on the board but you don't have to worry since the size of your wheels can change how high the board is on the ground. The trucks I'm using are suitable for 7.5-8.0 boards but if I put them on boards 7.75 or greater, the trucks will be noticeably smaller than the board.

Like my motorbike sort of. I have a competition motocross bike (with knobbies) that is road legal (it has a headlight, plate, and indicators, and the knobbies are DOT rated so its not really SUITABLE for the road, but technically, it complies)
