Nakamura has a similar style in some respects, but you are right. Itami is even using his heel moveset now, he just needs to turn ASAP.

He also had the terrible bad luck of almost his entire moveset being lifted by two of the biggest WWE stars of the last few years, and debuting just before they started letting indie stars keep their names, so he ended up just sounding like a japanese salary man and not KENTA.

Itami has fucking zero momentum from coming back from injury. All he had would've been revenge on Owens, but he's on the main roster. He's already dying a death out there, the only thing that is over about him is the GTS. NXT completely passed him by.
