>Battleground was originally designed to be War Games. War Games was going to come back and somebody—and I don't actually know who so not I'm not trying to be vague—but somebody said 'No it takes up too much ticket space so we aren't going to do the War Games.'

I fucking hate this dumbass company.
>>1673470
I call bullshit.
The camera people/producers can't make a fucking singles match look good and you want them to try wargames?
>>1673470
For the best, really. WWE War Games would be trash. They're incapable of building up a serious heel stable, it'd just be Hulk vs. the Dungeon of Doom level crap.
>>1673470
War games was a retarded concept. half the time fans in attendance couldn't even WTF was going on inside. Plus it took away ticket space as WWE cited. There's a reason WCW went out of business.

THERE ARE NO HULKAMANIACS HERE

>There's a reason WCW went out of business
I don't think having one Wargames PPV a year killed WCW. Flying the full roster at every single event, the bad booking decisions, the creative clauses on people's contracts and the general backstage cluelessness killed WCW.

>We could've had this
>Instead, it was a "Kane breaks Bryan's neck" match

>There's a reason WCW went out of business
Yeah, AOL
I never watched any WCW, so can someone just give me a basic gist of what the fuck a War Games match was?
>>1673523
It's like 8-men Tag Team Elimination Chamber, but with 2 rings

For football games, 50% of the fans have 50% of the game happen on the opposite side of the field, where views are shit. That doesn't stop the NFL from selling out most games, or from people enjoying their experience. The point of War Games is that everyone is watching something happen at all times. Yes, certain spots will be missed, but that doesn't matter.

>two teams of 5 (or 4 depending)
>Two guys start
>New guy comes in every 5 minutes
>After all guys enter the match ends when one team gives up
Stings Squadron vs the Dangerous Alliance is the best one

You forgot to mention that the match doesn't officially start until all of the competitors are in the ring.
