Back in 2009 Smackdown was in town and my buddies and I ended up taking a little trip up to Rockford from Champaign to attend the festivities.

After a great show we decided to hit the bars and ended up at a little place where a bunch of the superstars were hanging out, namely Chris Jericho and a few midcard guys that had matches that night. Now I've been a Jericho mark since his days in Japan, even used to have his personal website/blog bookmarked and read it every week, so to me this was like meeting the president.

I went up and introduced myself, we shook hands and chatted for a while. He seemed pretty impressed with how much I knew about his career. After about 10 minutes I was getting ready to excuse myself because I didn't want to be annoying, when these two rats approached us. Now, these were real, hardbody rats, miniskirts, big fake bolt-ons, three pounds of makeup between the two of them. They recognized Jericho from the show and started trying to chat us up.

Now, I should mention that I'm 6'3" and by that time I'd been hitting the gym religiously for years, so I definitely had the physique of a wrestler, and these dumb rats didn't know any better and probably assumed I was also with the E.

Anyway, Jericho caught on real quick and started talking me up something fierce. I'd never been wingmanned like that before but he had these rats slipping and sliding telling them how I was just signed and "the next big thing," how I'd be debuting next week and this was "their chance" before I became a big time superstar. Needless to say the two rats ate it up and I ended up renting a room at Motel 6 where I banged both of them at the same time. Now that's what I call getting put over.
