WWE has announced that they will be introducing a "people of color" championship belt in the coming months. The belt which will be exclusive to superstars of color will be introduced to the SmackDown Live brand in the next few months.
Stephanie McMahon said on Twitter that she was delighted to introduce this belt to the WWE.
"Finally, superstars of color will no longer be cast aside they will the chance to compete for their own title."
The move has won praise from several high profile celebrities including Ghostbusters star Leslie Jones

The belt is open to all superstars male or female who are of color, it is believed that all matches for the belt must representative of all races and genders.
