What the hell is so new about this 'New Era?'
It's the same old bullshit that's been happening since the end of the RA era but this time it's split between 2 brands again
When did they start calling the Attitude Era by that name? I'm pretty sure not when it was going on to pander to marks thinking they're gonna make a good product again

I saw an Observer from 1999 where Meltzer keeps saying "Attitude Era" which surprised me because I thought that term was coined after it was over. I think Internet smarks in the late 90s coined it because of the constant spam of the phrase "WWF Attitude" at the time. I think the company started saying it around 2003 but it became more prevalent over the years.
