>"I've worked so hard. p...p...please care about me" "Please respect me"
This ideology, this mindset among the new era superstars is the biggest culprit and the biggest reason for lack of characters and lack of storylines in wrestling today. These new age wrestlers instead of working on being fun characters, captivating personalities, entertaining badasses on the show and allowing the viewers to naturally like them, are begging for their "respect" every week citing their work ethic as a reason. This mindset is totally retarded, why should any fan be forced to "respect" someone on a goddamn tv show. So what if these guys work 300 days a year? That doesn't make one entertaining as a character. How did this cancerous mentality spread? Where did this start? And how does wrestling get out this?

autismo
Seth Rollins, Bray Wyatt, Roman Reigns, Rusev, John Cena, Darren Young, Y2J, Shaemus are the closest you guys have to characters.
Kevin Owens is a good improviser and has impromptu skills, so he tends to be good.
AJ Styles has really come a long way, followed his entire TNA Run and he has really evolved well. The haircut really makes him look less bland.
Finn Balor is shit. I still don't get why he is HHH's golden boy.
Apollo Creed is bland shit
Sammy Zayne is bland shit
NXT Tag Division is the epitome of bland
Austin Aries is DOA, never liked him in TNA
Cruiserweight Classic is bringing the bland cancer to WWE.
>most vanilla midgets and indie darlings
>entitlement
Hmm, I wonder who popularized this

More proof CM Punk ruined wrestling.

Neckbeards want to believe their hip, outlaw wrestling is more legitimate than the mainstream, so the wrestlers have no characters and kill themselves in the ring.
Enzo Amore can't wrestle for shit and hes already more over than Cesaro, Harper and Neville put together
>>1557062
As much as I am a fan of punk, he did start the trend o complaining and shooting, I guess everyone is using the cm punk formula to get over.

Reminder: CM PUNK HAS THE BALLS TO DO THINGS THAT NOBODY ELSE HAS THE BALLS TO DO
it's funny that low life losers are making fun of a guy who has actually done something in life, while they failed at everything, got depressed and now shit posts on a forum and will rot here forever, because they are failure at life. Cm punk is a millionaire, he has already won, what he's doing now is his passion and he's taking a shot at it, unlike you losers that faiked or got rejected at everything you tried to do.
I like how you couldn't even deny of the shit the guy wrote about you being a bitter loser and failure at life and that is why you hate Punk.
Because it's the truth. You couldn't even deny it. Instead you zone in on "hurr Punk is a whiner" meme because he is not afraid to speak his mind.
Let me guess, you think "It's better to not try and risk failure than to risk failure in trying"
Enjoy living in your safe space bubble because you have no balls, spending the rest of your days rage posting about a guy who has the balls and money to do what he wants with his life.
There's winners and losers in life Ladies & Gentlemen, now guess which one you are.
