Could pro-wrestling be an Olympic sport? Obviously, it would be as a choreographed martial art, where both wrestlers are judged on in-ring performance and the two who put on the best show win

Too little too late. Would have worked when wrestling was more shoot than work.

I'm talking about acknowledging that it's a work, and appreciating the skills actually involved. There are many choreographed martial arts where the "combatants" are judged on how good of a show they put on, so to speak. It could easily be applied to pro-rasslin'

If ice skating is considered then I see no reason why it couldn't be included. The problem is stigma associated with it as a medium as well as the extraneous aspects of its production becoming part of the appeal. Eg music, attire, camera work. It's honestly a very collaborative process.

True, though they could just do a stripped-down Olympic version where it's just two dudes in the ring putting on a show
I mean, I'd watch it. I'm sure other people would too

But how will it be performed. Will it be flippy shit, technical, or strong-style. Can't be mixed because the judges would be bias over the styles. It's pretty hard to be impartial with that.
Absofuckinlutely not.
There is no system of scoring. Will they invent one out of thin air, for....what? To put on an exhibition competition that is enjoyed by a couple of million people worldwide? At the fucking olympics which is dropping sports left and right? No chance
