Last night was the first night that I've watched all three hours of RAW in God knows how long and it was mainly because of the fact that it felt new yet it also felt simple. Everything had a point and built to something. Even the stupid comedy angle with Golden Truth eventually built to them doing a dumb run-in. Again, it was dumb but at least it wasn't aimless. Nothing about this episode of RAW felt aimless or pointless, and that's what's been turning me off over the years. At times, it felt like there was no point in watching the show because nothing meant anything and it felt like I was watching a variety show that happened to have a wrestling ring in the middle of it. Not last night. Last night, I actually felt like I was watching a damn wrestling show and it was fun!
Now, one show doesn't mean that the ship has been righted, but I'm hoping that they learn from this and keep the show going in this direction. Same with Smackdown, too. I want wrestling to be good again so badly, and this is a step in the right direction.
