Hey aspies, I'm not autistic enough to ever go to this board but I'm thinking about trying some martial arts clubs at my uni. I really have my eyes set on Tae Kwon do. I am a taller guy (6'3) and on the heavier side with more lower body strength. I'm not looking to compete in tournaments at any point nor do I want 'epic street fighting kung fu'. I would just want a martial art to practice that will improve hand eye coordination with a some strength and agility thrown in. Would Tae kwon do be a good fit?

get out and never come back
have sex please
Yes. Pretty much any (legit) martial art that emphasizes hard strikes will help you with that. TKD, shotokan, Carter-fucking, etc will get you there

Whats your height?

It's pretty much perfect for what you want to do.
Personally I never enjoyed having to do all those lame rhythmic dances they make you memorize, but they should improve your hand eye coordination. The rest of the stuff will improve your agility and strength as well.

He's 6'3"
It won't be available until school starts up again, anything specific I should focus on? Cardio? Yoga? Lower body? Core? All of the above?

Cardio. I suck at cardio and had issues getting blown up early into classes. It was so embarrassing that I wanted to kill myself.
