Rusev as a babyface is something I'm not too behind, and he's one of my utmost favourites on the roster right now, but he's just too damn good of a Heel in every innate fashion that it offsets his babyface skill-set.
He sells wonderfully, and could easily draw sympathy from the crowd.
But he's a big, built-as-fuck Bulgarian man-beast. Can't sympathize with that.
He has a ton of personality and character for fans to connect with.
But that's best used as a furious, snarling foreign villain.
