Yeah, WWE is being purposefully vague about whether or not the springboard forearm is replacing the Styles Clash for good, and this allows them to book the forearm to be that weak. Same goes for Gallows and Anderson, it seems they are replacing the Magic Killer with the "Boot of Doom", but since they used the Magic Killer in the last match, they have wiggle room to say the Boot that hit Roman wasn't a finisher, hence a kickout.
